Evan's Indoor Camping Weekend

A couple months ago when we made our shopping trip to IKEA, we got the kids a play tent for indoors. It was only like $10 and we thought they'd both enjoy playing in it. So far it's been a hit and they both enjoy it equally. Last week Evan was working on earning stickers for his sticker chart and if he got enough by Friday he got to put the tent in our room and sleep in there for the night. By Friday he did earn the stickers so we told him Saturday night we'd bring the tent up from the basement play area and put in our room. He was beyond excited because not only does he love the chance to sleep in mommy and daddy's room, but he thought it was really cool that he could sleep in the tent. It was like he was camping, but instead of outside he was inside (where it was nice in warm).

After we brought the tent upstairs, Evan asked me to get the blankets all set up for him while he went and got stuff from his room. He came back with his pillow, some of his stuffed animals, and his little pillow. Here's Ev all snuggled in and ready to camp"in" under all his blankets.

Sound a sleep a few minutes later...yes he's under there somewhere!

He didn't make a peep all night so the tent must of suited him well. He slept like a rock! On a different note, I have to share this photo below of Molly after I wrote about her last week. This is a new one folks. I told you she lays in weird spots. I caught her here on Friday. I can't imagine that this is comfortable, but for her I guess it was because she liked it there for awhile. (Of course the fireplace wasn't on, otherwise she would've been in front of it.)
