Free Music Class

Friday at bunco, my friend Carla was telling me that the MSU Community Music School was having an open house and free music class today. Remember back in May when we were tourists in our town and went to the Music School? The kids loved it and had fun checking out the instruments so I figured, why not go again. Plus the free music class to check out was a great added bonus! We've been thinking about putting one or both of the kids in a music class at some point, so we thought this was a great opportunity to check it out. So off we went this afternoon to explore some instruments and music! Here's some pictures from our afternoon.

Emmaline trying out the violin...doesn't she look so cute?

Once again he had some wind and made a very loud sound come out of the saxophone!

Emmaline playing a tune on the piano!

Evan wanted to try the flute since mommy used to play it!

Of course it wouldn't be a complete visit if Evan didn't play the drums!

My friend Carla (she teaches one of the classes at the school)

Evan and Em following along to Miss Carla's instructions in the music class.

It was a fun afternoon and the kids enjoyed themselves. I'm glad we went. It's so fun to see them try new things!
