In Memory

I thought it would be fitting today to have a special post in memory of Greg's dad, my Father-In-Law, and Evan & Emmaline's Grandpa. Today would've been Dad K's 59th birthday. For those of you that may not know, Greg's dad passed away from esophageal cancer almost three years ago. Much too young! He was a wonderful Father, Father-In-Law, and PaPoo (Grandpa) to our family. He loved his little Evan boy more than words can say and unfortunately our little Emmaline was born after his death so she never had the chance to meet her PaPoo. He would've loved her too more than words could say. I'm sure Evan and Emmaline would've had him wrapped around their finger. Our kids are really missing out not being able to share in special memories with their PaPoo. There's always those special days like his birthday, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas that are a little harder than others with him not here with us. We all miss him so much! So here's to wishing Dad K. a Happy Birthday. I know he's looking down upon us everyday.
